SAQ Training

Speed, Agility, Quickness and Power are qualities that are synonymous with athletic performance. When combined with Sport Specific drills and movements, they will help give you the athlete the edge that is needed in overcoming and conquring your competitors.

Speed:
  • A combination of Stride Length and Stride Frequency
  • A measure of how fast an athlete can sprint for short distances

    Agility:
  • To be able to Accelerate and change direction quickly while maintaining correct posture and without decreasing speed
  • Is associated with Muscle Memory (Motor Learning) and does not deteriorate quickly in relation to Speed, Quickness and Power

    Quickness:

  • Reacting Quickly to the ever changing physical conditions duriing game play
  • The ability of an athlete to perform specific movements in the shortest time possible

    Power:
  • The "Optimal" combination of Speed and Strength
  • The ability to generate Force quickly

    When the program begins, you are Tested in four major areas to help develop a Base-line from which we can work from. These tests help us as coaches specifically Tailor a SAQ Program for your unique needs. That is the Uniqueness of our progam! We treat you as an Individual who has their own specific Strengths and Shortcomings.

    The coaching staff at EIT Athletics is highly trained and every coach has their degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science. Allow us to tailor our program to meet your specific and unique needs.
